Martin Softball and Baseball Still Alive

The Lady Warriors softball team beat Odessa 6-3 in a single game played on Friday night to advance in the playoffs.  They will play Keller in the Regional Quarterfinals later this week.  Details to come. Lady Warriors Advance to Area

The Martin softball team swept Fossil Ridge this weekend in the Bi-District round of the State Playoffs.  The Lady Warriors only had to play 2 games out of a possible 3 beating Ridge 3-1 and 4-0.   The will go on the road to Odessa High School this week working to clinch the Area Championship.

Martin takes the Title

The Warriors baseball team fished up district last week with a 13-1 record, making them the District Champs!  They will go head-to-head with Abilene for the Bi-District round of the State Playoffs.  The three game series will be played at North Crowley. Myles Garrett Makes History, Goes No. 1 Overall

Martin alum Myles Garrett was selected by the Cleveland Browns as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.  Garrett made history Thursday by being the first player from Tarrant County and Texas A&M to go No. 1 overall.  He celebrated at Tierra Verde Golf Club in Arlington with family and close friends. Martin Softball Playoff Update

The Lady Warriors begin their playoff run at home tonight at Workman Field.  Martin will kickoff their 3 game series against Fossil Ridge starting at 6:00 PM.  Game 2 will be played Friday night at 6:00 PM at Fossil Ridge, and if needed game 3 will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Hurst L.D. Bell.  Good
